Our Story
Our story starts with a whole lot of 3D-printing frustration. Back in 2015, our founder Simon was working at an IT&DIY company, tasked with printing a crucial prototype for a client—but faulty PLA filaments turned the project into a nightmare. He went through five different suppliers, each with a frustrating flaw: one batch was badly off-color (think neon broccoli instead of the required forest green), another jammed the printer constantly, and one melted into wet spaghetti in summer humidity. The project was delayed, and the client’s disappointment was obvious. Our materials engineer Li summed up the pain perfectly: “We spent more time fixing filament fails than actually designing stuff.”
That frustration sparked an idea: create reliable filament ourselves. In 2020, Toksen3D launched in Guangzhou with one production line. After refining our chameleon-color filament through over 100 test prints, we won our first customer—a lampshade factory owner fed up with inconsistent filament. His question, “Will the color stay the same?” got an unwavering answer: we retain every batch sample to guarantee consistency.
Our Mission
Today, we’ve grown into a trusted brand with over 200 filament colors—including “Royal Green,” inspired by a car Simon spotted on a trip. Every shade carries the same attention to detail that started our journey.
